• Cooking Class: is a private culinary event space in Union Market’s La Cosecha that offers customizable experiences, including pasta and dumpling making. in The Square on K Street also has corporate cooking class options and can travel to your location.

• Cocktail Class: The offers mixology classes Monday through Wednesday at their restaurant Bourbon Steak in Georgetown. in Adams Morgan hosts monthly cocktail classes to try out your bartender skills alongside colleagues.

• Interactive Wine Tasting: has a range of wine-centric activities from Trivial Wine Pursuit to Cheese and Wine Walkabout. Add a little flair by designing a label for your event, and bottles will be ready on the day of your event.

Discover DC’s neighborhoods, public art and local history through guided excursions.

• : Dive deeper into the NoMa/Union Market and Adam Morgan neighborhoods through the stories painted on their walls. Jason, the founder, is uniquely in touch with the area’s artist community and adjusts his tour as the murals and graffiti changes.

• : Explore the city through trails, back roads and cycling routes. Jeff and the bike experts arrive right at your meeting spot ready to roll on your tailored route.

• Black Broadway Tour: Briana Thomas, historian and journalist, takes groups on a two-hour walking excursion through U Street to celebrate DC’s diverse communities, hidden gems and untold stories.

Engaging docent-led tours and immersive cultural experiences for groups.  

All in DC – with the exception of the African American History and Culture, the National Air and Space Museum and the National Zoo – offer free docent lead tours. For groups over 10 guests, reservations and appointments are required.

The National Gallery of Art also offers free daily tours highlighting different parts of the collection, including the Sculpture Garden. The museum does not offer large group tours but reach out to private tours, such as Art with Tosca, for a tailored group experience.

Attendees can become spies for the afternoon at the International Spy Museum with – United States of Espionage and Museum Highlights – led by knowledgeable volunteer docents. Private guided tours are also available.

Volunteer and community engagement opportunities that allow groups to make a meaningful impact together.  

• : Work alongside front-line staff and Culinary Job Training students to cut, chop, peel and prep fresh produce to prepare balanced meals for the DC community.

• In the Parks: Groups can volunteer to clean up the . also partners with the , , and for general trash clean up, invasive plant species removal and trail work.
